We chose Rellini art studio for out small wedding in Umbria. At first, we had chosen another photographer but when finding Maurizio’s portfolio and the wide range of his artistic expertise we just had to cancel the other one. We had no idea what to expect, but we are beyond amazed with the results. Maurizio took charge right away and made us (two camera-shy swedes) look like we could fit on the cover of a magazine. During the ceremony we didn’t notice him, but while seeing the pictures afterwards it seems he was able to be at all the places at the same time. He is so creative and positive! Already the next day he sent us some of his favourites. CANDID & NATURAL
From the very beginning, we have chosen to follow our own voice and not stick to the most popular photography styles, except through our reinterpretation.
Regarding the reportage style, we appreciate its ability to capture important moments as they happen, but we don't like the lack of attention to beauty.
From storytelling style, we like the opportunity it gives the photographer to leave a recognizable imprint, but we don't like that it tends to make all services look similar.
From the editorial style, we are intrigued by the fashionable look it gives to couples, but we are not convinced that it is adaptable to every single couple.
A wedding photography service should not satisfy our ego as photographers but it should represent you as a couple and as individuals. It should convey the truth without creating situations that make you feel out of place..
By scrolling through our photos, you will see people who felt comfortable while we photographed them, showing themselves without hesitation or inhibitions. We strongly believe that you can appear elegant even when happy, beautiful even in spontaneous moments. We are careful to preserve spontaneity at every stage of the day, which is why we would never ask you to repeat a gesture or create something that isn't there.
For this reason, we primarily use long lenses that allow us to capture moments from a distance without you noticing us: the farther we are, the more natural the result. There are no non-photogenic people, but only people not at ease. Putting you at ease is one of the tasks in which we excel.
Photoshoot Time
Couples' photos are a topic that sometimes intimidates those less predisposed to being in front of a camera. We completely understand! Even before being photographers, we are normal people who feel uncomfortable when on the other side of the lens. That's why our motto is "The shortest, the better": we promise that your couple photoshoot will not last more than 10-15 minutes, and we assure you that it will probably be a fun moment!
Another spontaneous moment is during the aperitif when we'll have fun capturing your guests as they relax and enjoy, seizing funny moments.
The LOOK of our photos is warm but manages to preserve the natural tones of the skin and the real color of the clothes. Our black and whites draw inspiration from our early years when we used to develop negatives and prints in the darkroom before the digital era: rich in contrasts, balanced, and perfect for high-quality prints, with the right brightness for both a mobile display and once printed on fine art paper.
Throughout the day, we will not only focus on you but also on your families and friends, and on those details that will make your beautiful day unique: emotional reactions, moments of intimacy, formal and informal groups, floral arrangements. We sometimes receive lists of shots to take (feel free to send them!), but usually, our way of working already covers the most comprehensive list.

Our couples always appreciate the calm and attention with which we approach each wedding. There are situations where we like to offer our small support if you face moments of tension or insecurity, and others where we become invisible.
You will always see us as accomplices with a smile because, for us, photographing a wedding has no secrets and resembles more of a fun activity than a job.
Another thing our couples love is that we are a couple in work as well as in life, and we like to think that we bring the beauty and solidity of our relationship of over 20 years every time we work with a new couple.

DRONE
VIDEO
Some packages include the drone, and others don't. We are often asked if it's worth completing the photographic service with the drone. Our answer is absolutely yes! In reality, you will not receive many photos taken with the drone, and they will probably be limited to documenting the location, tables, and some situations. We fly during breaks when important things are not happening. Usually, we do not fly during the ceremony to avoid disturbing with the noise.
Rellini Art Studio specializes in photographic services. As for video service, we rely on professionals with whom we regularly collaborate and whom we like to suggest for the quality of the product offered and their professionalism. In our VIDEO page, you will find some suggestions. We do not sell the video service, so feel free to contact one of the videographers we suggest or any other professional you may want to find independently.
GUIDE TO OUR
PACKAGES
The photographer is one of the first professionals that couples look for, and this almost always happens at a time when it is still impossible to predict the schedule of the day and therefore how many hours the service will last. We have prepared some options based on duration, but we understand the difficulties of choosing a package well in advance: although most of our couples choose the 10-hour package, they are never sure if it's too much or enough.
It will be helpful to understand how a wedding day unfolds usually in Italy and the service that is most often requested:
Usually, we start shooting 2 hours before the ceremony, followed by a 1:30 aperitif. The aperitif usually ends around sunset, after which everyone sits for speeches and dinner. The dinner service usually lasts 1:30 - 2 hours, followed by the party. We normally document at least 1 hour of the party.
If the chosen package is not sufficient, you can add an extra hour without any problems, even at the last minute. In every phase, you will find flexibility on our part, and we will be happy to meet your needs.
